“Over the years we’ve met a lot of good people … they come and go all the time. I’ve been one of the lucky ones to hang around.” Since starting at the Jubilee sawmill as a 15-year-old in 1971, Roger Davis has seen a lot of change in the industry. It was a natural career for the boy who grew up playing among the oak and chestnut trees in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, in southern England. 🌲🌳
